My late grandmother, Polly Ann's kitchen was a place of love, peace, and purpose. I named the business after her to ensure her legacy of hospitality lives on. Even though she didn't leave behind written recipes, I've spent years perfecting my scratch-made cakes to capture the love and magic she put into everything she baked.

Founded in June 2019, Polly Ann Cakes is a living tribute to the legacy of my grandmother, Polly Ann. Our mission is to keep her spirit of love and hospitality alive, one handcrafted cake at a time. While the original recipes were never written down, we have spent years perfecting a scratch-made process that captures the love and "magic" of her kitchen.
We stand out in the market by prioritizing artisanal quality over mass production. We specialize in individual, bundt-shaped pound cakes rather than standard slices, ensuring every customer receives a beautifully presented, whole personal cake. Our secret lies in our handcrafted ingredients: we use homemade buttermilk, vanilla extract, and small-batch caramel sauce to ensure every bite is fresh and flavorful.
During our 8-month residency at the SoHo Shops, we are excited to introduce our individual-sized bundt and "ooey gooey" creations to new Suga Cravers while continuing to serve our loyal community. While transitioning to a fixed mini-storefront is a significant step, our commitment remains the same: to preserve the integrity of a family legacy and to provide a curated, personal moment of joy through the art of baking.
