Shopping like no other
The SoHo Shops, located at 16114 South Park Ave, South Holland, IL 60473, are coming to South Holland with an exciting new vision for local business and community life. This innovative 8-month retail incubator will feature 10 mini storefronts, creating a unique shopping experience right in the heart of Town Center. Designed to help emerging entrepreneurs bring their business ideas to life, the Shops offer an affordable, lower-risk opportunity for small businesses to move from home-based or online sales into a temporary storefront setting. While at the Shops, vendors are able to test new products, grow their customer base, and gain real-world retail experience.

What makes this project especially meaningful is that it was co-created by dedicated committee members and local leaders with the community in mind. Together, the project team has helped shape the vision, priorities, and design of the Shops. Their voices and ideas ensure the space reflects the values of South Holland while meeting the real needs of artisans and makers.

As South Holland’s first dedicated retail destination, the Shops will support small business growth, boost economic activity, and bring new energy and vibrancy to the Town Center.

The visual look and feel of a community is often one’s first impression, and South Holland takes pride in making that impression both positive and lasting. The Clean, Bright, Beautiful Committee (CBBC) has long championed this vision by creating and promoting aesthetically pleasing spaces while actively engaging residents and businesses in the process. Building on this commitment, the CBBC has played a key role in spearheading the SoHo Shops. They have helped shape the design of the space, build out the incubator program, and even select the participating vendors. Through these efforts, the committee continues to make tremendous strides toward its vision of a Clean, Bright, Beautiful South Holland.

As a dynamic duo with years of experience cultivating small businesses and connecting entrepreneurs to opportunities, KPGS Consulting brings retail incubators to life. Together, they have seen retail incubators spark economic growth, creating lasting impact, and transform underutilized spaces into incredible event venues. Specifically, they work closely with municipalities, organizations, and community stakeholders to offer artisans and makers the resources needed to grow: a supportive learning environment, tailored educational programming, physical space, marketing, and more!
